New Zealand's former cricketer Chris Cairns is reportedly still not over the match fixing allegations against him by former team mates.

According to the BBC, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) would not charge match fixing offenses against the former NZ cricketer.

Cairns indicated that was the case with a text message yesterday which suggested he had read the Daily Telegraph report but could not comment as he was "awaiting the Met Police and CPS [Crown Prosecution Service] decision".

Cairns flew to London last month to offer himself up for interviews with the Met, ECB and the ICC's anti-corruption unit.

Cairns has always maintained his innocence, more so since evidence given to anti-corruption officers was leaked to English media. Vincent, his ex-wife Elly Riley, and New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum all testified against 'Player X'. Cairns labelled the leaked evidence a "lie" and suggested "dark forces" were at play.

Vincent was last month charged by the ECB with 14 offences relating to two county cricket matches he played for Sussex in 2011. He was banned for three years by the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
