Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday expressed his confidence in a Bharatiya Janata Party victory in the upcoming Delhi assembly polls, stating that the citizens of the national capital will vote to 'transform' the city.
Prime Minister Modi shared his experiences of his rally in the Rohini area of the city earlier in the day via a series of tweets.
"The Rohini rally was fantastic. Highlighted why BJP is best suited to provide good and stable governance in Delhi."
"People have seen the working of Central Govt. for last 8 months. Every effort of ours has been directed towards improving lives of the poor."
"People of Delhi will reject the misgovernance, lies and double standards of the last 16 years and elect a BJP Govt. that will transform Delhi."
Attacking the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party, Prime Minister Modi had earlier in the day stated that both parties had ruined Delhi in the last 16 years and it was now the BJP's responsibility to rectify past mistakes.
The BJP goes head-to-head with the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress party in the Delhi assembly polls, scheduled to be held on February 7 with counting of votes to be held on February 10.
