A couple, who dressed up as bride and groom as pals at the age of 4, are now celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary.
Ron and Eileen Everest, both now 91, were off to a carnival in 1926 when they posed for a black and white snap in formal wedding outfit, the Daily Express reported.
The couple were born in the same hospital maternity ward in Gillingham, Kent.
Eileen told the publication that it was their parents who decided to dress them as a bride and groom for the Gillingham Carnival.
They got engaged in 1940, by which time Ron was serving with the Royal Navy in the Second World War.
