World number one Novak Djokovic has claimed that he is trying to enjoy the moment as he basks in glory after winning his third successive title of the season at the Miami Open on Sunday.
Djokovic now heads into the European clay-court season in ominous form following victories in Miami Open, Australian Open and Indian Wells. He looks in such command of his game and his opponents that there is already the feeling he could enjoy a similar year to his remarkable 2011, where he won 41 straight matches and claimed three of the Grand Slam titles.
The Serb said that he hopes that the 2011-like streak is on the horizon, but he insisted that it is just the beginning. He claimed that he doesn't want to predict anything and doesn't want to put some additional unnecessary pressure on himself, Sport24 reported.
Djokovic said that there is already a lot of expectations of course and everywhere he goes he has to deal with it.
But the Serb is enjoying the moment. He said that he could not ask for a better start of the season, winning three big titles, adding that he would hopefully be able to use this for the clay court coming up, insisting that that's extremely important for him obviously leading up to French Open.
Djokovic will be 28 next month and knows that he needs to take full advantage of his current form to add to his tally of eight grand slam tournament wins.
The Serb said that he is trying to enjoy the moment and also utilize this time of his career where he is probably playing the tennis of his life and is feeling confident and physically fit.
