Govt alert to tackle Cyclone Hudhud, says Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi

As Cyclone Hudhud made its landfall in Vizag, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Sunday stated the government is fully prepared to tackle Cyclone Hudhud and its after effects.

"To fight the Hudhud cyclone government is prepared. If we know from earlier about this kind of natural disaster then we can be ready for it. Government is alert and putting its best step forward," Naqvi told ANI here.

Cyclone Hudhud has made a landfall at Vizag at a speed of 170-180kmph gusting up to 190 kmph. Northern coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh will see heavy rain and high speed winds.
