The pink Chanel suit that Jackie Kennedy wore on the day her husband and former US President John F Kennedy was assassinated in Texas, will no longer be available for public viewing until 2103.

According to the New York Times, the Kennedy family has decided to keep the bloodstained suit in a vault at the National Archives, Radar Online reported.

The New York publication asserted that if there is a single item that captures both the shame and the violence that erupted that day, and the glamour and artifice that preceded it, it is Kennedy's suit.
