India's leading mobile auto aggregator Jugnoo has announced its association with Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC), as a step towards fulfilling the last mile connectivity requirements.
It will simultaneously fulfill its objective of providing first and last mile connectivity to all Jaipur Metro passengers to/from all nine metro stations through its convenient on demand mobile friendly app.
Additionally, passengers opting for this service from any of these stations will get assured 15 percent off on the total bill on all rides.
"Despite being a relatively new addition to the rapid transit system in India, the JMRC is one of the fastest built urban rail systems in the country. With an estimated daily ridership of 25,000, the tie-up with JMRC will give us immense opportunity to serve the growing number of metro commuters in Jaipur, and help us in fulfilling our goal of facilitating last mile connectivity for all individuals," said Growth Head Jugnoo, Parag Jain.
The stations that are presently covered in this line are: Mansarovar, New Aatish Market, Vivek Vihar, Shayam Nagar, Ram Nagar, Civil Line, Railway Station, Sindhi Camp, and Chandpole. With its latest association with Jugnoo, the JMRC will now enable all commuters to access a reliable, affordable, and fast service that provides end-to-end transport connectivity and ultimate satisfaction of utilizing hassle free public transport.
"We are extremely delighted to be associated with a comprehensive service provider like Jugnoo, which is also one of the fastest growing on-demand commuting apps in India. We are confident that this tie-up will help us in extending our support towards all JMRC commuters, eliminating any of their last-mile connectivity issues with a quick and dependable auto service," said Director (Operations and Systems) Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation, CS Jeengar.
The special 15 percent off deal will be given on all rides booked from and/or any of the nine metro stations. Users will see this offer on the Jugnoo app whenever they are within 300 meters of any of these stations.
JMRC will permit 'Drop, Pick and Halt' facility to Jugnoo auto-rickshaws at metro stations in the area that is usually reserved for metro feeder bus services. Moreover, all metro stations will have free Wi-Fi facility of one hour for all commuters, allowing them to avail the Jugnoo app-based auto-rickshaw facility in case they do not have mobile data/ internet connectivity in their phones.
This association is the stepping stone for Jugnoo in augmenting its reach across tier-II and tier-III cities in the country. Apart from this partnership, Jugnoo has previously tied up with enterprises like Trainman - an online platform catering to Indian Railway travelers, to accomplish its aim of eliminating the last mile commuting woes of customers.
