Kelly Clarkson recently labeled Reba McEntire as the "coolest mother-in-law" after McEntire was honored with the Milestone Award at 2015 Academy of Country Music (ACM) awards.
The former 'American Idol' winner joked that she yelled across the crowded backstage to McEntire asking her to grow up when she was at the ACMs nine years ago, People Magazine reported.
Clarkson, who is now married to McEntire's stepson, Brandon Blackstock, asserted that that day she would become friends with this legendary woman, but in the most crazy twist of fate, she would become her family.
McEntire was also all praises for Clarkson when she told the magazine that it meant really a lot to her because the 32-year-old singer and she have been buddies since 2002, and Clarkson was a great person.
