Manchester United incoming manager David Moyes is reportedly hoping to lure Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo to the club as Ronaldo has denied claims that he had signed a new deal with Real and plans to play for them until 2018.
Ronaldo had posted on twitter that reports of his contract renewal with Real are false, the Mirror reports.
Moyes's hopes of persuading the Portuguese footballer to return to Old Trafford have got lifted with Ronaldo's plan to leave Real after the six-year contract comes to an end.
Real president Florentino Perez has even planned a longer stay for Ronaldo in a bid to keep him in the club through the peak years of his career and had claimed that he was to remain with the club until his retirement.
However, the report said that Ronaldo has planned strategies to sign a 60 million-pounds-deal with his next club.
While Real are prepared to double Ronaldo's current salary of 1,85,000 pounds-a-week Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have been linked with a 85 million-pounds-deal with Ronaldo, the report added.
