Despite being out of favour with the national selectors, Pakistani cricketer Saeed Ajmal has won the support and confidence of returning to his 'best' from his Worcestershire team-mate Moeen Ali.
Ali believes that Ajmal was just 'a four-day game away from getting back to his best', the Dawn reported, adding that it was 'brilliant' to have the 37-year-old back in the side and reiterating his opinion that Ajmal is one of the best spinners in the world
He further said that he saw Ajmal at Northants and thought 'he was not far away'.
Praising the off-spinner, Ali called Ajmal a 'natural competitor' and said that he was really pleased with what he saw from him.
