The Congress Party on Wednesday launched an attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government, saying that it has lost its credibility and so a nationwide labour strike has been called.

"Modi Government's base has fallen. Nobody is trusting him(PM Modi). Even, Soldiers, labours, as well as farmers are not ready to trust this government. It seems he has lost the credibility," Congress leader Pramod Tiwari told ANI.

"He only talks. He is inviting people all over the world for his make in India campaign but investors are returning back. I can only say that the credibility of Modi Government has collapsed and this is the reason that today there is a nationwide labour strike," he added.

Speaking on the issue of One Rank One Pension(OROP) issue, he said, " if this government is not taking care of our soldiers, who are siting on dharna at Jantar Mantar, how can you expect this government to fulfill the need of others.
