The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given a clean chit to Rajasthan Royals co-owner Raj Kundra and India Cements, owner of Chennai Super Kings in the IPL spot-fixing scandal.

According to reports, BCCI Vice President Niranjan Shah said at a BCCI Working Committee meeting in Kolkata that no evidence of any wrongdoing has been found by the judges against Raj Kundra, India Cements and Rajasthan Royals.

A two-member probe panel comprising of former judges T. Jayaram Chouta and R. Balasubramanian on Gurunath Meiyappan, has submitted its report to BCCI this afternoon.

The probe report will be forwarded to the IPL governing council, which will meet in here on August 2 for a final decision.

N. Srinivasan, who owns India Cements, had stepped aside as the BCCI chief after his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan, part of the Chennai Super Kings management, was arrested on charges of betting in IPL matches. He was later released on bail.

Earlier, Rajasthan Royals co-owner Raj Kundra was questioned by Delhi Police and was reported to have been betting on IPL matches.

The scandal broke up with the arrest of three cricketers - S Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila - during the middle of IPL 6.
