The petition seeking confiscation of assets of cricketers Mohammad Amir, Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif was not admissible, the Lahore High Court revealed on Tuesday.

A citizen had filed the decision demanding that the court should seize their assets because they have been found guilty in spot fixing and embarrassed the nation.

While dismissing the petition, the court said that the cricketers have already faced punishment and they cannot be disciplined further, The News reported.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) had banned the trio on February 5, 2011. The board then allowed Aamir to return to domestic cricket in January 2015, the report added.
