Michael Schumacher's son Mick, who made his debut in German F4 series last year, continues his push towards Formula One as he is all set to race in this season's Italian series as well.
Confirming the news, Mick's manager Sabine Kehm said that the Formula One legend's 17-year-old son would drive in both the series initially and that they would later evaluate if he manages to concentrate on one, Sport24 reported.
Insisting that Mick was still in the training phase, Kehm said they had deliberately opted for another year in Formula 4 so that the training could be as broad and deep as possible.
Mick, who drives for Ferrari-linked Italian junior team Prema, will kick off his campaign at this week's Italian series in Misano followed by the opening German round in Oschersleben.
