Attempting to downplay the remarks made by his party colleague Tarun Vijay, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shatrughan Sinha while citing the beauty of Lord Krishna today said there is nothing black and white, adding it is nature's rule that somewhere in the world people have very fair complexion while at other places they are not that fair.

"We all are human beings and brotherhood between the people is more important," he told ANI

Sinha, however, admitted that he would dub the remarks as 'racist' had it not been any intellectual like Vijay.

"If somebody makes such a statement, I can never support it," he added.

Earlier in the day, Vijay, when asked about why India was being called racist by practically everybody around, asserted that had India been racist, it wouldn't have had a place for the South-Indians.

In a recent interview, Vijay, when asked about why India was being called racist by practically everybody around, asserted that had India been racist, it wouldn't have had a place for the South-Indians.

"I don't know who you are, whether you're an Indian or you belong to some other nation. But you know the entire South India. There is Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra. There are black people all around. So if we were racists, why would we be living with these black people," Vijay told the news presenter, who didn't look very amused with the curt reply.

As soon as the video surfaced online, Vijay started trending on the social media.

Vijay's comments have invited an univocal wrath especially in the wake of reports of 'racial' attacks in various parts of the country.
