Directors Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly have recently opened up about their upcoming adventurous film 'The Angry Birds, linking their anger to Greek philosopher Aristotle.

In a chat with Quora users, the duo said, "It was fun to explore the idea that anger isn't necessarily a negative emotion," the Independent reports.

"Like Aristotle said, "Anybody can become angry, that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy," they explained.

Talking about the movie's plot, they said the bird's community was not angry at the beginning rather they were comically naïve, spending their entire lives on Bird Island in peace. However, their anger rooted when pigs showed up and stole their eggs.

Based on the video game series of the same name, the forthcoming 3D computer-animated action-adventure film, which stars Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Kate McKinnon, Sean Penn, Keegan-Michael Key, Bill Hader and Peter Dinklage, is slated to hit the US theatres on May 20.
