TravelKhana expands food delivery network on three Indian railway routes

India-wide marketplace enabling food ordering for travelers in transit TravelKhana has now expanded its network in eastern, western and northern India by marking its presence in 22 new stations.

The online food ordering platform now has 202 stations in total on its relentlessly escalating network in the states of Punjab, Bihar, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Haryana.

TravelKhana records a maximum number of orders through its mobile app. Based on the concept of virtual QSR model, the online marketplace ensures strong processes for restaurants through its app.

Travellers can now download the TravelKhana app on their mobile phones and access it in an offline mode with an assurance that their transactions will be completed within 30 seconds. TravelKhana is getting into using technologies to detect as well as predict the travel of a customer Train Trips in are detected that pass through railway stations like Bareilly city, Burdwan, Durgapur, Guntur Jn, Jalgaon Jn, Malda Town amongst others.

The company has also integrated its services with the IRCTC website, is making it possible for travelers to get access to lip-smacking fare prepared by various restaurants en route their journey.

All the restaurants are selected and verified by TravelKhana.com personnel across various stations. The entire process is managed by a completely automated workflow that sends real-time reminders to passengers as well as restaurants.
