Varun Dhawan launched the first look of his much awaited movie 'Badlapur' in the presence of its entire cast and crew at an event held in Mumbai recently.
Dhawan who has an image of a chocolaty boy will be seen in a darker shade for the very first time. And the actor is completely overwhelmed by its experience it seems.
"You know it's strange because the last three movies I have done had something of me be it when I was 16, 18 or 20. In this film it had something which I could be when I become a father. There are emotions which I haven't experienced as yet. There are emotions which when I think I was at this placed I could have reacted the same. And I tried my best to put myself in that place," said the actor.
The 'Maie Tera Hero' star even added that it was an experience which can't be explained in words.
"It's a total piece of art and creativity. Shri Ram has very well made my character, he totally graphed it for me and told me to live this, feel this. So I did suffer a lot while doing this film, I can't say it was great fun there was a lot of suffering. But when I see this teaser and when I think that I got to work with actors like Nawaz and Huma so that is a very emotional experience. I can't explain it in words," he said.
Directed by Sriram Raghavan this action thriller also stars actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam, Divya Dutta and Radhika Apte. The film is set to release on February 20, 2015.
