The Congress on Tuesday demanded a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation over the Vyapam Scam under the supervision of the Supreme Court.
"There must be a CBI enquiry over Vyapam scam under the supervision of the Supreme Court and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan must write to the Home Ministry seeking the same," Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia.
Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had said that he will request the High Court to order the CBI to conduct its inquiry into the Vyapam scam.
Chouhan also claimed that the Congress had indulged in baseless allegations against him and that their accusations were merely to spoil his reputation.
