Honda NSX Concept unveiled at 2013 Indonesia Motor Show

The Japanese automaker, Honda that unveiled the Brio based MPV Mobilio, has now unveiled the NSX Concept at the Indonesia International Motor Show 2013. Honda NSX is the latest generation of the company's legendary supercar that combines the performance and appearance of a sports car with an environmentally friendly hybrid engine.

The NSX Concept was first premiered at the event 2012 NAIAS (North American International Auto Show), Detroit, Michigan, United States. For the first time the vehicle unveiled for the Asia & Oceania at the IIMS 2013. The concept was revealed by the President, Chief Executive Officer and Representative Director of Honda Motor Co.., Ltd.., Takanobu Ito.

NSX Sport Hybrid Concept machine adopts All Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD), a new engine which powered three high-performance electric motors. This system is a combination of torque and efficiency of hybrid engines, where one motor works integrally with V6 engine and two motors work independently drive the rear wheels, and supported 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). This system produces a more stable handling when cornering (cornering) to achieve a new level of driving performance beyond the current AWD system. Not only that, because it uses a hybrid system, Honda NSX Concept also results in fuel efficiency is very good. Honda developed the latest technology in the Center of Honda R & D America in Ohio. NSX Concept has a length of 4,830 mm, width 1,895 mm, height 1,160 mm and wheelbase 2,575 mm. For the material itself, the NSX Concept uses basic materials and also CRFB aluminium (carbonfibre reinforced plastic) so the weight becomes lighter and make the car better performance in terms of aerodynamic than its predecessor.

NSX Concept looks very futuristic ranging from exterior and interior. Headlights are equipped with LED lights (Light Emitting Diode) that tapered in the front, while on the back there is a rear wing on the car a sporty image reinforces this supercar. The NSX Concept will be introduced in many countries including Indonesia. NSX Concept will also participate at the in the Super GT race series in 2014.
