The much hyped car this year - Ciaz from India's largest automobile manufacturer will enter the market early next month, bookings of the same have already begun starting this month. Speaking in this context, Ciaz has reportedly gathered 5000 bookings since it started. Maruti began this year with the launch of Celerio at the Expo, now its time for Ciaz and early next year they will launch SX4 Cross that they showcased at the Auto Show.

Maruti has rolled out a contest #RideWithRanveer, along with the new TVC indicating bookings open. Now, about the contest #RideWithRanveer, the contest is only for the people living in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai. In this tweeting contest, all you need to do for the participation is retweet Ranveer's tweets from - @RANVEEROFFICIAL or you can also follow @MarutiCiaz to spot his tweets. The contest has already started from 16th and will continue till 19th, watch out the above mentioned twitter handles for your city tweets.
Powering the Ciaz is a set of engines borrowed from Ertiga, the 1.3 liter DDiS churns out 88.8bhp and 200Nm of torque and a 1.4 liter K14 petrol engine delivering 93.5bhp and 130Nm of max torque. Both the engines are mated to a five speed manual transmission while an automatic with petrol trim will be offered later. The sedan comes with contemporary add-ons like 7-inch touchscreen Suzuki 'SmartPlay' infotainment system, fully automatic AC with rear aircon vents, etc.
