Nifty June 2015 futures at premium
Nifty June 2015 futures were at 8465.60, at a premium of 31.95 points over spot closing of 8433.65. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment fell sharply to Rs 1.77 lakh crore, from turnover of Rs 5.52 lakh crore registered yesterday, 28 May 2015. Turnover on the F&O segment had risen sharply yesterday, 28 May 2015, as traders rolled over positions from May 2015 series to June 2015 series. The May 2015 F&O contracts expired yesterday, 28 May 2015.
Lupin June 2015 futures were at 1774, near spot closing of 1770.10.
Bharti Airtel June 2015 futures were at 416.60, near spot closing of 413.10.
Eicher Motors June 2015 futures were at 18285, at a discount compared with spot closing of 18299.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty jumped 114.65 points or 1.37% to settle at 8,433.65, its highest closing level since 22 May 2015.
The June 2015 F&O contracts are set to expire on 25 June 2015.
