Japan Nikkei tumbles 2% on Jerusalem worries

The Japan share market finished down for third day in row on Wednesday, 06 December 2017, as investor sentiment battered by following a retreat on Wall Street overnight and yen's rise against the dollar on worries about instability in the Middle East following the news that U.S. President Donald Trump will recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. The key Nikkei 225 index fell 1.97% or 445.34 points to 22,177.04. The broader Topix index was down 1.43% or 25.55 points at 1,765.42.
