Turnover rises

Nifty March 2015 futures were at 8,952.85, a premium of 30.20 points over spot closing of 8,922.65. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 299396.56 crore from Rs 169411.73 crore yesterday, 3 March 2015.

State Bank of India March 2015 futures were at Rs 294.35, at a premium over spot closing of Rs 292.75.

ICICI Bank March 2015 futures were at Rs 348.90, at a premium over spot closing of Rs 348.25.

Axis Bank March 2015 futures were at Rs 613.55, at a premium over spot closing of Rs 610.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty fell 73.60 points or 0.82% to settle at 8,922.65, its lowest closing level since 28 February 2015.

The March 2015 derivatives contracts expire on 26 March 2015.
