Nifty May 2014 futures fall below 6800

Turnover rises

Nifty May 2014 futures were at 6764, at a premium of 48.75 points over spot closing of 6715.25. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 73455.28 crore from Rs 63489.99 crore on Monday, 28 April 2014.

State Bank of India May 2014 futures were at 2067.90, at a premium over spot closing of 2062.20.

Tata Steel May 2014 futures were at 407.50, at a premium over spot closing of 405.

Adani Enterprises May 2014 futures were at 437.10, at a premium over spot closing of 433.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 46 points or 0.68% to settle at 6,715.25, its lowest closing level since 16 April 2014.

The May 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 29 May 2014.
