Vedanta reports standalone net profit of Rs 11700.47 crore in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 27.87% to Rs 11102.51 crore

Net profit of Vedanta reported to Rs 11700.47 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 9394.53 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 27.87% to Rs 11102.51 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 8682.93 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit reported to Rs 11068.70 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 11906.23 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.53% to Rs 36663.26 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 34094.28 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
