Global outsourcing services company Aegis Limited on Tuesday announced its expansion in Malaysia with the inauguration of its Business Process Management (BPM) Centre of Excellence in Medini City of Iskandar Puteri district.
The facility would provide a suite of BPM solutions for clients in Malaysia, Singapore and Asia Pacific.
"Aegis has been a pioneer in the global delivery model and that led us to grow and expand our strategic presence in Malaysia," said Sandip Sen, Global CEO, Aegis Limited, in a statement.
With a capacity for over 700 employees, the new facility would initially employ up to 550 personnel, of which 90 per cent would be local workforce from Johor state.
It is the company's third BPM centre in Malaysia with the other two centres located in Kuala Lumpur.
