Pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar's fifer helped India reduce New Zealand to 128/7 on the second day of the penultimate Test match at the Eden Gardens here on Saturday. The visitors now trail by 188 runs.
Bhuvneshwar's Kumar took five wickets giving away 33 runs in his 10 overs as he ran through the Kiwi top order. Spinner Ravindra Jadeja and Pacer Mohammad Shami took one wicket apiece.
For the visitors, senior batsman Ross Taylor (36) provided some resistance but failed to drag his team out of trouble.
