Big B proud of son's success (Movie Snippets)

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is a proud daddy. Revelling in the box office success of his son Abhishek's "Dhoom 3", he says he "never imagined" his boy would become the star that he is today.

The 71-year-old posted a childhood picture of Abhishek Bachchan on Twitter.

"Abhishek on rare Sunday at Prateeksha, never imagined he would become what he is today...'Dhoom 3'," Amitabh posted on the microblogging site Tuesday.

"Dhoom 3" has grossed Rs.107.61 crore in the first three days of its release, including earnings from the Tamil and Telugu versions. Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film also features Aamir Khan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif.

Shahid 'officially on holiday'

Actor Shahid Kapoor has decided to take some time off after his last film "R...Rajkumar" garnered success. The actor is currently in Los Angeles and will be back at work in a few weeks.

"Landed in L.A., on a break for a couple of weeks...looking bright and sunny... officially on holiday mode," Shahid posted on Twitter Tuesday.

Directed by Prabhudheva, "R...Rajkumar" also features Sonakshi Sinha. The massy entertainer earned Rs.64.43 crore in its first two weeks.

SRK wants 10 sequels to 'Don'

It's been two years since superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Don 2" released. He says he would love to have another "10 sequels" to the film.

Shah Rukh took to Twitter to thank the makers and share the fun he had while shooting the film.

"Thanks Farhan (Akhtar), Ritesh (Sidhwani), Lara (Dutta) and my man Boman (Irani)...one of the finest film making fun I ever had. Hope we all make 10 sequels to 'Don'," Shah Rukh posted on the microblogging site Tuesday.

"Don 2" was a sequel to the 2006 film "Don", which was a remake of the 1978 film of the same name. The original starred Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role.

For now, SRK is busy shooting for Farah Khan's "Happy New Year".
