BSE Bond manages bond issuance for NTPC and HUDCO

Stock exchange major BSE on Wednesday said that its "BSE Bond" platform has managed bond issuance of NTPC and HUDCO, respectively.

"Today on September 14, 2016, NTPC Limited and HUDCO Limited successfully raised Rs.670 crore and Rs.700 crore respectively by issuing bonds on private placement basis using BSE Bond platform," the BSE said in a statement.

The BSE had launched the electronic book mechanism "BSE Bond" platform on July 1, 2016 for issuance of debt securities on private placement basis.

Since its launch, the BSE Bond platform for electronic book mechanism has managed 24 issuers' 98 issues of bonds and successfully raised Rs 42,336 crore.
