Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Tuesday said that hardly a penny is spent on his numerous visits to Delhi.
His comments were in response to questions from media about the modest expenditure of Rs 500 which was spent on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal during the latter's two visits to Goa.
"So what. I go to Delhi on so many occasions, not even a penny is spent," Parsekar said.
In a written reply tabled on Monday during the ongoing monsoon session of the Goa legislative assembly, Protocol Minister Dilip Parulekar had said that Kejriwal's visit to the coastal state had cost the exchequer an expenditure of only Rs 500, which was spent on buying a floral bouquet.
