Surendra Koli, who has been convicted and sentenced to death in nine cases of rape and murder of women in Noida's Nithari village, was on Saturday handed down capital punishment in the 10th case of rape and murder against him.
A special CBI court here announced the sentence against Koli, the domestic help of Noida businessman Moninder Singh Pandher.
Charged with raping and killing 16 girls and women in 2005-06 and in some cases, cannibalism, Koli was convicted and sentenced to death in nine cases earlier. Pandher was also convicted and sentenced to death in three cases, though he was acquitted by the Allahabad High Court in one.
The ghastly killings came to light in December 2006 following discovery of human remains from a drain behind Pandher's house in Nithari village in Noida.
