Indian shuttlers Anand Pawar and Saili Rane entered the pre-quarterfinals of their respective events at the $50,000 Scottish Open Grand Prix here Thursday.
Seventh seed Pawar defeated unseeded Danish Kim Bruun 21-7, 21-15 in 33 minutes in men's singles at the Emirates Arena, the same arena where the Commonwealth Games were held. He will next take on Dutch Erik Meijs for a place in the last eight Friday.
Pawar's compatriot Saili defeated Sweden's Matilda Petersen 21-16, 21-11 in 28 minutes in women's singles.
