Congress President Sonia Gandhi will flag off a three-day bus yatra to Uttar Pradesh here on July 23.
The bus yatra, with a message '27 saal, UP behal', will travel through Ghaziabad, Hapur, Amroha and Moradabad on the first day and halt at Moradabad for the night.
"In the next two days, it will cover Rampur, Bareilly, Hardoi, Kannauj and Kanpur," Sanjay Singh, chairman, campaign committee of Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee, said at a press conference here.
Senior leaders like Ghulam Nabi Azad, Raj Babbar and Sheila Dikshit will address the public during the bus yatra, he said.
Asked if Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's daughter Priyanka Vadra will also address the yatra, Singh denied any knowledge about it.
"We don't know as yet but as we come to know about her participating in any of the election campaign-related activity we will let you know," he said.
The Congress released a list of campaign incharges for all 18 divisions of Uttar Pradesh, including Harender Malik for Saharanpur, Harshvardhan Valmiki for Agra, Hasan Arif Ansari for Aligarh, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi for Allahabad and Ram Bachan Dhuria for Azamgarh.
