Experts share their views on Entrepreneurship and Innovation: The New Age Mantra

Eminent professors, scholars, industry experts and entrepreneurs congregated at the International Conference on “Entrepreneurship and Innovation: The New Age Mantra”, hosted by Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS) at PHD House, August Kranti Marg.

JIMS Group of Institutions, an institute of excellence in the field of management studies and technical education, conceptualized and organized Entrepreneurship and Innovation to highlight the need and significance of the future trends of entrepreneurship and innovation.

Successful cases of social entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs, innovations for rural markets, eco-friendly manufacturing and products, innovative IT enabled services, etc. have made entrepreneurship and innovation to be the two prominent trends of the future. With this view, the International Conference was conceptualized.

The day-long conference began with an inaugural session by Chief Guest Sh. Salil Bhandari, President, PHDCCI.  This was followed by a Panel Discussion on ‘Innovation is polycentric’ and a Technical Session. Scholars and professors from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), International Management Institute (IMI) in Delhi and Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Ghaziabad, were on panel of evaluators for the panel discussion.

Chaired by prominent academicians from FMS Delhi University, GuruGobindSingh Indraprastha University and Amrapali Institute, the technical session involved paper presentations on Entrepreneurial Dimensions, Entrepreneurial Illustrations and Pool of Innovations.
