Omkar Speciality Chemicals Limited (BSE code: 533317), one of the largest manufacturer and supplier of Speciality Chemicals and Intermediates for Chemical and Allied Industries, reported a robust growth in revenues and profit after tax for the quarter ended, March 31, 2011.
The company saw an increase in net sales by an impressive 73.26% from Rs. 1797.33 lacs to Rs. 3114.18 lacs during the same period for the last quarter. The profit after tax for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 stood at Rs. 297.42 lacs, resulting into an increase of 120.50%, as against Rs. 134.88 lacs in the corresponding period of the last quarter.
Whereas for the year ended March 31, 2011, the company saw an increase in net sales by an impressive 56.19% from Rs. 6834.96 lacs to Rs. 10,676 lacs. The profit after tax for the year ended March 31, 2011 stood at Rs. 1014.03 lacs, resulting into an increase of 95.68%, as against Rs. 518.38 lacs in the corresponding period of the last fiscal.
