39 IPS officers moved to UP

It was a result of major reshuffle in the police administration

In a major reshuffle in the police administration the Uttar Pradesh government today shifted 39 IPS officers, an official spokesman said here.

ADG, Special Inquiry, Sujaan Veer Singh has been shifted to Food Cell in the same capacity, whereas IG, Surgriv Giri has been transferred to Economic Offences Wing.

DIG, Telecom, Mohit Agarwal has been posted as DIG, Establishment. He will replace Bhagwan Swaroop Srivastava, who has been moved to Allahabad Range.

DIG, Police Headquarters, Vijay Prakash has been posted as DIG, PAC sector, Lucknow.

SP, Police Recruitment Board, Laxmi Narain has been posted as DIG, Technical Services.

SP, Vigilance Establishment, Rakesh Pradhan has been shifted as DIG, EOW. SP, CB-CID, Dalveer Singh has been transferred as DIG, Railway.

SP, Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Police Academy, Uday Pratap has been elevated as DIG.

SP, Vigilance Establishment, Madan Gopal Singh has been transferred as DIG, Police Recruitment Board.

Commandant, 43 PAC, M K Mishra has been shifted as DIG, PAC, Varanasi sector.

Commandant, 24 PAC, Ashok Kumar Tandon has been posted as DIG, PTS Moradabad, whereas Commandant, 49 PAC, D P Srivastava has been transferred as DIG, PTS Meerut.

SP, CB-CID, J P Singh has been posted as DIG, PTS Gorakhpur. Commandant, 6 PAC, O P Sagar has been transferred as DIG, PTC Sitapur.

Commandant, 28 PAC, Virendra Kumar Shekhar has been posted as SP, Bijnor. Commandant, 33 PAC, Deepak Kumar has been shifted to 35 PAC.

SP, Railway, Gorakhpur, Vinod Kumar Singh has been posted as SP, Maharajganj. Commandant, 42 PAC, Alankrata Singh has been shifted to 28 PAC.

SP, Bijnor, Akhilesh Kumar has been transferred as SSP, Mathura.

SP, Food Cell, Prem Narain has been shifted to CB-CID, whereas Commandant, 20 PAC, Rajesh Krishna has been transferred to 10 PAC.

Commandant, 35 PAC, Ajay Kumar Mishra has been posted as SP, ATS. SP, Modak, Rajesh Dinesh has been shifted to CB-CID.

SP, Sharad Sachan too has been shifted to the same department.

SP, Mrigendra has been transferred to the vigilance establishment, whereas Sonia Singh, who was attached with the DGP headquarters has been posted as SP, Anti-corruption organisation.

SP, Uday Shanker Jaiswal has been posted in Food Cell, SP, Shiv Shanker Singh has been transferred as Commandant, 33 PAC.

SP, Maharajganj, Bharat Singh has been shifted to Jaunpur in the same capacity.
