The stone-pelting had led to lathi-charge and firing in the air by the police.
Over 33 persons including 12 police personnels had been injured.
After the accused were produced before the court today, 35 of them were remanded in judicial custody, while the police custody of seven persons was extended by two days.
Additional SP Dr Kakasaheb Dhole and other senior officials are camping in Umarkhed to oversee the law and order situation.
