AAP MLA for govt jobs for youths acquitted in terror cases

AAP's Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan today demanded a government job for the youths who have been acquitted in terror cases.
Speaking under Special Mention (Rule 280) in the Delhi Assembly, Khan claimed there has been several incidents of youths being picked up by the police in Okhla in wrong cases, but many of them were later acquitted by the court.
"I want the government to provide government jobs to those acquitted in terror cases as they spend their lives in jail for 20-25 years, but when these allegations turned out to be false, they are acquitted by court. I demand that such person should be provided with job," the Okhla MLA said.

The AAP legislator also made a reference to the 2008 Batla House encounter case in the Assembly.
The AAP MLA also demanded that police officers who arrested "innocent youths" in false cases should be held responsible.
"Two days back, one person came to me and told that he had been arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police on February 20, 1998 and after 14 years, he was acquitted all all cases in 2012," he claimed.
"He also told me that his father had died after one and a half years of his arrest and his mother suffered brain damage," he further claimed, adding, "I demand that such persons should be given government job.
