"Both (SP and BJP) believe that they will benefit in a communally-charged atmosphere. A glaring example was the Muzaffarnagar riots," party's national spokesman Sanjay Singh told reporters here.
He said the party will contest all the 80 Lok Sabha seats in the state in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
"Our national executive has decided that AAP will be fielding its candidates in as many as 20 states across the country in the Lok Sabha elections.
Singh also charged the SP government in the state with "repressing democratic movements against corruption" and "fomenting communal tensions in collusion with the BJP".
In reply to a query, the AAP leader said the ruling SP was "guilty of fomenting communal tensions in collusion with the BJP."
Attacking the BJP over its plans to re-induct former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, the AAP leader said "this proves that BJP is no different from the Congress when it comes to taking a stand against corruption".
Singh also said that the party was looking forward to its upcoming rally on January 12 in Amethi, a bastion of the Nehru-Gandhi family, "where people do not have access to basic amenities despite having been represented by one political bigwig after the other over past many years".
Singh said the party intends to reach out to voters with "a clean alternative, wherein there would be no compromise on the candidates' criminal background, charges of corruption or any blemishes on personal character".
