Accused in Burundi student case sent to judicial custody

Gosain, who surrendered on Wednesday evening, was produced before the court after the completion of his police remand, they said.

On April 21, Yanick Nihangaja, a Burundi national and student of a local private university, was allegedly attacked by a group of ten youths.

He received serious injuries in the incident and is in a state of unconsciousness since then.
