Akhilesh attacks PM for not delivering 'Achche din'

Kicking off the Samajwadi Party's campaign for the upcoming Bihar Assembly poll, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not delivering "achche din" and other promises made before the General elections last year.
"The Prime Minister had promised to usher in "achche din" to the people but he could not deliver it. All those promises have not materialised though they were heavily publicized through banners and hoardings at the time of general elections last year," he said.
The Samajwadi Party is contesting the Bihar Assembly poll after forming a third front with five other regional parties following its exit from the grand alliance of the RJD, JD(U) and Congress to protest against allotment of mere five seats.

Yadav attacked Modi over his announcement of Rs 1.25 lakh-crore special package to Bihar weeks before announcement of the Assembly poll schedule and seeking publicity of the incentive through an advertisement blitz and sought to know from Modi as to what his government had done for the poll-bound state in the first 15 months of his term.
Speaking on the issue of black money, Yadav wondered how the ill gotten wealth stashed offshore would suddenly turn into "white money" after going back into accounts of people.
The Prime Minister had promised to bring back black money from foreign shores and give it to the people in their bank accounts, Yadav recalled.

Attacking the NDA government for taking voters for a ride on distribution of black money on being elected to power, he said that the promised money had not reached the people of Uttar Pradesh.
"The people in Uttar Pradesh have not received a penny from the unaccounted black money being brought back by the Centre....I am sure the people of Bihar too have not got anything so far," Yadav said.
