"The Prime Minister had promised to usher in "achche din" to the people but he could not deliver it. All those promises have not materialised though they were heavily publicized through banners and hoardings at the time of general elections last year," he said.
The Samajwadi Party is contesting the Bihar Assembly poll after forming a third front with five other regional parties following its exit from the grand alliance of the RJD, JD(U) and Congress to protest against allotment of mere five seats.
Speaking on the issue of black money, Yadav wondered how the ill gotten wealth stashed offshore would suddenly turn into "white money" after going back into accounts of people.
The Prime Minister had promised to bring back black money from foreign shores and give it to the people in their bank accounts, Yadav recalled.
"The people in Uttar Pradesh have not received a penny from the unaccounted black money being brought back by the Centre....I am sure the people of Bihar too have not got anything so far," Yadav said.
