Assam Govt prohibits strike in AGCL services
The prohibition would cover production, storage, supply or distribution of natural gas within the state of Assam, an official statement said.
This step has been taken "as per provisions of the Essential Services Maintenance (Assam) Act, 1980 in the interest of public service."
It will come into force with immediate effect for a period of six months.
