Prabhsimran Kaur's body has been located, Fatehgarh Sahib SSP Mandeep Singh Sidhu said.
Khushwinder Singh, a resident of Suhavi village in Fatehgarh Sahab district, allegedly pushed seven people into the Bhakra canal some days back. However, one woman identified as Jasmeen Kaur, his cousin, managed to swim her way to safety.
Singh was arrested on June 27 and efforts were on to locate the remaining six, out of which a victim, Gurinder Singh, was found dead in the canal yesterday.
Bodies of Jasmeen's father Gurmail Singh(70), mother Paramjit Kaur(60), husband Rupinder Singh (35) and her 7-year-old son Jaskirat Singh are yet to be located.
