Businessmen can get Importer-Exporter code in Srinagar

"Henceforth, Importer Exporter Code for Handicraft Exporters will be issued from the Srinagar office of Director General Foreign Trade at Kashmir Haat Exhibition Ground," the spokesman said.

Exporters, otherwise, had to travel to Jammu to get the code issued.

The spokesman said the announcement was made today at a review function of Export Development Centre established at Kashmir Haat premises by the Assistant Director General Foreign Trade office P Sai Babu.

He said exporters from Kashmir valley can also avail the services of the office of Director General Foreign Trade for DEPB, Focus Product Scheme Scrips (FPS), Focus Market Scraps (FMS), EPCG and Advance Authorizations facilities.
