Cops contribute half day salary to parents of Youth Brigadier

: Around 1300 police personnel today contributed half a day's salary amounting to Rs 4.13 lakh to parents of a Tamil Nadu Special Police (Youth Brigadier) personnel who was killed while on duty a week back.
A Vinothkumar (22) who was on duty at Krishnapuram police station in Dharmapuri was killed after he fell into a well when a police team chased out a gang trying to distribute cash to voters in M.K.Pudhur village late on April 23, 2014. The man's body was handed over to his parents the next day.
Salem Range DIG A Amalraj handed over the amount of Rs 4,31,050 to the parent at the District Police Office here today.
