The minister issued the necessary direction in this regard while reviewing construction work of IIT Palakkad, NIT Calicut, IISER Thiruvananthapuram, Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT)-Pala and works at various Universities, Kendriya Vidyalayas and BSF campuses executed by CPWD in the state at a meeting of CPWD officials here. Naidu also directed CPWD to go for third party quality assurance of works executed by CPWD works across the state.
The issue of non-availability of funds for works will be taken up with the ministries concerned, he said, adding, he would look into the shortage of senior level CPWD officers in Kerala.
