Mahendra Singh Dhoni today surpassed former skipper Sourav Ganguly as the most successful Indian captain in terms of ODI victories achieved on foreign shores.
The four-wicket win over the West Indies in the cricket World Cup here was Dhoni's 59th while Ganguly had 58 victories under his belt.
The current Indian captain played a key role with an unbeaten 45-run knock, helping his side to a hard-fought win at the WACA.
