The eight-episode series will be helmed by Matthew Weiner, who is set to reunite with a team of 13 producers, writers, casting directors and costume designers from his uber popular drama "Mad Men".
The 52-year-old actor will appear in one of the episodes of the series, which is set around the globe narrating separate stories about people who believe themselves to be the descendants of a Russian royal family, according to Variety.
The series also features Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Isabelle Huppert, Marthe Keller, Aaron Eckhart, Jack Huston and Amanda Peet.
