Ex-area commander among two Maoists held
Acting on tip-off, the police raided a house near Muzaffarganj Chowk last night and arrested the former area commander Shambhu Das alias Pintu.
A pistol and ammunition were seized from Das who was wanted in seven cases, including a bank heist, the sources said.
Another ultra Kundan Jha from Rataitha village, who was wanted in a case for supplying weapons to Maoists, has been arrested the sources said.
Both are being interrogated now.
